Dear Moment Family,
I’m praying that your holiday season slows a little the next couple of weeks – even if you need to make it happen – and that you’re able to reflect on God’s goodness. That His jealousy for You, prompted Him to come and suffer, so that He could simply experience you relating to Him. He didn’t love us “because of” but “in spite of” and “anyway.” How miraculous! A few thoughts and things…
#1 Please keep praying that God open a door for us to have a new office in Tustin. I would love to see our team have a place to meet each week and a place for those who are hurting to show up and be loved each week! We have found a couple of places that may work but I believe that, if God wants us somewhere, it will be clear and confirmed.
#2 We did a second walk-through on the new Pioneer School site last week and we should be able to hold 1000 people for Sunday morning services. Please be praying about the ONE person God has asked you bring to our January 15th Grand Opening! Bre and I already have two different family’s we’ve invited!
#3 Moment FILTER & Moment FIXED will both launch January 15th. If you are in Jr. High or High School then please check out the FILTER FACEBOOK HERE. If you are a young family then email us for details on the launch of FIXED – A Ministry for Men, Women, & Families led by Dave & Past Barnes!
#4 Reminder that this Sunday night will be a normal gathering – 6pm at Newsong – But, next weekend is Christmas weekend and we will NOT have service on Sunday. Instead, we’ll be gathering Saturday, Christmas Eve, at 5pm for a family service with many of our friends from Newsong! I am really excited to have this special night of holiday celebration and remembrance of Christ’s birth!
#5 I’ll be posting some of my year end reflections the next couple of weeks along with some 2012 goals. I’m hoping you’ll join me in some 2012 revolutions (not resolutions). Revolution means change and part of passionate world change is planning and praying for passionate world change. Let’s do this together!
Love you,
Tony
